FAQ

Prices & How To Book
Whether you are having a wedding, party, corporate event or celebration, Pink Fish provide an individually tailored event to meet your exact requirements. Please use the contacts page to let us know what you are planning and we will quickly get in touch to provide a personalised quotation.

The Performance
Pink Fish typically play two sets of at least 1 hour in length each, plus encores. We can adjust the set lengths to fit in with your event timings and work with you to produce a perfect setlist from our song repertoire.

Song Requests
To make your event even more personal we are happy to learn a special song, whether that be for a "first dance" at a wedding or simply an old favourite. If you would like us to do this then we require a minimum one months notice ahead of your booking.

Insurance
Pink Fish are covered by Public Liability Insurance to the value of £5,000,000. Copies of the certificate are available on request.

Sounds & Lighting
Pink Fish have their own professional quality PA system and mixing desk. We also have an extensive lighting rig featuring moving heads, lasers and smoke machines. We can provide the use of the Pink Fish PA for public addresses or music between sets. Outside of these times may incur an extra rental cost.

Access
Please ensure the venue has adequate access for the loading/unloading of equipment, some of which is large and heavy. Please inform the band in advance of any restrictions on parking or access as we arrive with two transit sized vans!

Playing Area
We are a five piece band with a lot of equipment and lights. While we can scale down to fit in small areas, for an optimum show we ideally need a playing area of at least 6m by 4m deep.

Setup Time & Soundcheck
We require approximately 1.5 hours prior to the start of your event for setting up the equipment, lights and to perform a soundcheck. Please ensure we have access to the venue ahead of our arrival time and that the stage / "band area" is adequately prepared and free of chairs, tables and any other objects.

Power
Please make sure there is an adequate power supply to the venue & stage. If the venue is a marquee or temporary structure please ensure power has been provided. All Pink Fish equipment has been PAT tested.
